The hands

This piece is great, i love the highlights given off from the gun on the soldier, my problem with this is the hands look so ill-drawn in comparison to the rest of the art, as if they are meant to be shadows but are too sharp, also the anatomy of some of the hands mainly the two at the top of the drawing are poor, i really think you should re do the hands other than that this piece is brilliant.

This piece is actually from 2 years ago, and I agree with the stuff about the anatomy and the hands, but since this was completed I think I've improved, you should see some of my newer stuff on here.

Childish

This is a very childish piece, and not like...Pablo Picasso drawing like a child, but a 9 year old taking 2 minutes to draw a christmas card for his dad piece. The lines are messy, a complete lack of effort in this drawing, no signs of shading at all, just badly done fills and a bad perspective on the boxes under the tree. Snow does not fall in perfect circles like you are portraying either, please at least put some effort into your work before you publish it.

The neck is terrible, you should really work on your colouring, using pre set gradients is not a good idea, the detail is quite good on the neck piece. The sand is terrible, there is a complete lack of effort in this piece. Well on the bright side at least you didn't trace...this time.

Your artwork is pretty good, though you should try and work on drawing a character of your own, or draw from reference but in your own hand drawn stance.
